I do think everything has a limit. Come to think of it, after I stopped caring I felt so much better. I had finally snapped, had enough. Negativity is something I do not accept. It is the energy vampire of the worst kind.
People change and grow, it's inevitable despite how we think we don't. I believe that your personality and attitude shapes in one direction and continues developing that way once you hit your twenties.
Different exposure, different cultures, different thinking mindsets.
Not to say that you can't change yourself, but it takes more effort. You can teach an old dog new tricks, it just takes longer.
Maybe in future our paths will cross again, but for now I think we have come to that fork in the road.
