I announced last Friday that this week would be my last week of interning.

Today, they offered to let me extend my internship. Because Suits team was under-utilizing me (lol), they would transfer me over to Studio if I wanted.

1. I know nuts about design
2. They are willing to teach me from scratch

Yes, it sounds like cheap labour (paying me a few hundred to intern). But. The people are great, that pretty much makes me want to do it. Learn something new :D Got PS pros to learn from.

Tick tick tick. 

I didn't know they were going to offer; my mom called to say she was bringing over the stuff she baked to give them, sort of a farewell gift :')

That farewell gift of tuna tarts and choc muffins turned out to be for Suits haha. The tuna tarts were a hit; Chui asked me have a farewell every week. Siao.

MOD II @ Pizza Hut, KJ

One boring Sunday afternoon, Jack asked me if I would like to visit Chun Tat, who was working. I said okay, but wasn't sure what time I would get the car. True enough, I only set off close to 3pm. Meeps. Supposedly going there to accompany him for lunch too.

Got there, Chun Tat himself was busy layan-ing customer. Waited maybe close to 20 minutes? Felt like an eternity. When the customer finally left, Jack took their place then asked for the price of Aus air tickets. Got terribly rebuffed by the "friendly" assistant. Customer service fail. Off we go!

Jack, our resident conman joker, said that he had booked the whole of Pizza Hut. It had been a whole month since the Tokyo G incident, no, it didn't cross my mind... Chun Tat settled on a set meal while Jack rattled off items on the menu. 

"Why you order so much??"
"A lot meh?"

See for yourself. I felt myself getting full just by watching the food arriving. *thump thump thump* Food's hereeee...

Starters: "Soup" with a atomic load of Parmesan cheese powder

Breadsticks/Garlic bread? 

Took awfully long to arrive. We had fun jabbing the call button over and over again

An assortment of calamari rings, tempura prawns, crinklecut fries and...veg sticks...

Fried chicken wings smothered in chili sauce

In Jack's defense, he said he wanted to try them. Option of 3 or 6 pieces, he chose 6 -.-

Hawaiian with Tuna, cheesy stuffed crust. Regular.

At the beginning, Jack said we each have to eat 4 slices each including the starters. Siao. After probably an hour of sitting there, he gave up after 2 slices. MUFFIN ! Chun Tat and I slowly swallowed the 4 slices each while trying to make deals with each other.

"If I order a large pizza and you finish it, I'll pay for everything."

"If Chun Tat finishes 4 slices, you have to go along tonight."

"If I finish 4 slices, you must finish the rest."

On and on it went xD We sat there for about an hour and half, though it felt like forever. Tired of daring each other, I tapau-ed Jack's leftover slices for home. Figured someone could eat them for breakfast. Haha. 

Jack and I wondered around Giant for sometime because it was raining heavily. Ended up at Hinode where evil plans were spawned. *Mwahahahahaa...*

Wait for it :D

Reminder to self: Take menu far, far away from Jack the next time we eat out.

Everytime I think of it, I smile mischievously. In NO way that is going to happen, but still funny and downright weird. Lol. 

No, I can't say for sure what will and will not happen. I rather it did not.

Just thankful (in a way) that you're not around that often anymore, because for some weird reason you seem to see right through me. It will stay. Safe with me xD

Hot Air Balloons @ Putrajaya

Rushed back home Saturday afternoon after accompanying Zhi to eat her very late lunch. Hopped into the car again cuz Mom wanted to visit Putrajaya for the event. I slept most of the way. Tired out.

As the car passed familiar sights I couldn't help smiling. It's funny now xD Then, walking 20+km was tiring. Hey, at least the company was good. Wen Hong learned a good lesson that night too xD!

In between taking pictures, I was replying smses from Jack, Sim and CT. All mostly the same thing. Yumcha yumcha yumcha. Since I got back late, dad dropped me off at McD Centrepoint.

Jack, Seng Tat and I were feeling left out among Boon Yen's high school friends, we anti-social in a corner playing cards. Decided to shift to Starbucks where Jack could get an Internet connection. Pricey drinks too.

After a few rounds of CDT, moved on to Digimon World 3 and CT was falling asleep. Kesian.

Weird combo that night. Didn't really mix.

Went Kitchen Creatures for lunch today. Had the Chicken Cabonara :D All was good except the chicken pieces =/ So dry... Nyeh. Then I wished I had ordered bacon :P Lianne and I accompanied Serene to get her Starbucks Green Tea Frap. So tempted to get one toooo. 

Nevermind, payday coming. Sabar, sabar. No, the one on Saturday night doesn't count because it's tea :( Dark Mocha is back on the menu! Or maybe it never went anywhere *abashed smile* Sabar, sabar.

A trip down the memory lane

After work on 5th March, Mom informed me that there was no one home and Internet connection was down. Out of sheer desperados I followed her to wait for my bros to finish school. With 40 minutes to kill, I wondered around the compound.

Oh, sweet memories.

This one hit the hardest:

"Our table"

4 years worth of recess time spent here. 4 years worth of food and drink. 4 years worth of laughter. Our first recess as friends here, down to the last day of SPM, ZHI! Woots. So, so, so many memories :') and doings, gossips, and the infamous "oops I knocked your drink over" everyday. Poor Ras. 

What used to be the Bengkel, Block D and E have been replaced by these monstrosities. They finally got around to building the new blocks after years of saying they would. One is four storeys, the other three. Word is that, they have enough classrooms to turn DJ into a morning session only school and maybe throw in Form 6.

My second favourite place hahaha..

1. Zhi and I would disobey rules and line up in Kim's/Ee May's/Yi Ming's class row

The dreaded Monday morning assemblies with speeches going on and on and on... I forgot what we used to do to pass time. SBOB? Zhi's whispers about this and that teacher? :D Cari gali everydayyy with Vanessa :P

The one thing that will always remain in my head: Form 2 KH lessons in the bengkel. PRICELESS. "Ohmmm..."

I woke up with a muscle ache in my left calf. I don't remember doing anything strenuous yesterday. Which would be outing with Zhi, a trip to Putrajaya (lol) and a visit to McD Centrepoint. It makes walking painful. Bugger.

Two weeks left to my internship, I still haven't the faintest idea what I would like to do next time. I'm dead D: It seemed so easy last time, until I found out it wasn't what I thought it was. Meh.

How now brown cow? I shall continue drifting...Fweee.

It's been 8 months since you've gone. Strange; I can still picture the way you smiled when you were really happy and the funny way you walked.

You never really left :)

I close my eyes and imagine your voice, all the times when you gave advice. Strong. I guess we're all doing fine now. We learned to move on. Sometimes I read the posts people leave on your wall. They say it as if you're still here.

I wonder what you'll say about him if I told you. Heehee.

My one and only regret for 2009 was not seeing you for the last time. See you again when the time is right. We'll catch up :D

What seemed like a dull day turned out quite interesting during lunch.

Jek told some stories about his and Alex's high school days. So darn funny! xD Had fish head noodles for lunch, mmm. I have to stop spending so much :P

I always look forward to yumcha sessions with the guys. I leave feeling better than when I arrive. Of course, they  get up to their antics and come up with the lamest jokes; it's hard to resist :D

I really want to invest in a simple digicam. Pictures say so much more than words and I'm looking for something faster than my W810i hee.. To describe what happens everytime would take awhile. I might just turn this into a photoblog with videos. Three months of full-blown exposure to social media does wonders to you :) in a good way.

Will try to blog more regularly from now on.
