OU carpark was fullllllllllllll. Couldn't find space even on the rooftop.. Managed to squeeze the car into a comfy alley :) Didn't know what to do, or where to go. Wondered around like lost sheep, I remembered I wanted to apply for a OneCard :) It's the rainbow one, I can't stop looking at it and the boyfriend swt at my expense. Tralalala~
Got my card; I was complaining to Ben that I wanted to eat sushiiii. Jack hadn't eaten lunch and CT was up for it, so I suggested Sakae Sushi.
It was closed :((((
Opted for ice cream at BR; went to the old wing branch because it didn't have a crowd. Yummerz.
Clockwise from left: Choco Latte Crunch, Maui Brownie Madness and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.
You know Jack and his dislike of chocolate pfffft.
CT and I were pretty satisfied with the ice cream, but Jack being Jack he ordered a waffle. Topped with choc syrup, nuts, marshmallows and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Jelak max. We ergh, helped what we could to finish the waffle. Oooh dairy.
Continued walking around after, CT spied Tokyo G. Sushi bar. Jack made a beeline for it because he just-so-happened to want to try the place. Erm, okay.
Tokyo G. Green and macam "atas" and pretty empty
Hi Chun Tat!
Guess who :D
Soy sauce, wasabi, Jack's cawanmushi and ocha.
I left the ordering to Jack because he's the type that'd order whatever that catches his eye. And if I were to order, massive overload. I won't post my pics on FB cuz CT has already posted his. Leave it to me bloggie.
Item 1. Cawanmushi.
Jack mistakenly ordered it because he thought it was Miso Soup. /facepalm. Was cheaper than the soup anyway...
They had this 'Buy 3 Free 1' promotion, Jack chose Salmon skin. Tad spicy for me. Fusion... Jack liked it
Calamari :) Lightly battered and fried, topped with Jap mayo :D
Yinyee like this!
Mayo-eyo-eyo
Some meat wrapped with beef thingy.
I didn't read the descriptions much less know what was coming to the table haha :P Hmm, not horrible but not fantastic either. Very meaty with crispy bits inside. Interesting. CT couldn't help us finish it cuz it was vegetarian day for him. Lol.
Damage done
Another one I liked. Egg and cucumber with rice wrapped in salmon/avocado topped with a drop of mayo and roe :D
Jack specially ordered this for CT. All vegetarian, no meat.
Altogether now: "Awwwww."
We were guessing what the white strips were. Tasteless, so couldn't guess. Where's Ben when we need him :P Any ideas?
We were stuffed 3/4 through the meal. Fuhhh. Times like these wished Boon Yen/Khai Sim/Ben were here to help us finish. Hehehe. Sat there talking about our future company lol, while attempting to finish up the remains.
Well, overall Tokyo G is so-so. It's a bit pricey for light eating, but the portions are for sharing. What I found scandalous was a cup of Ocha for RM3.90. Wert???? Luckily refillable. Drowned ourselves in Ocha and dashed for the toilet after.
Woohoo, good day, good afternoon :D Mind you, it was around 6pm when we finished, only around 11pm I started feeling hungry... Definitely hungry after doing the CNY dinner and this post T_T
Nights all :D
